Aww The ”unbelievable” massive size of the world’s largest snake

The Medusa reticulated python with a length of up to 8m and a weight of up to 160kg is recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest snake in the world. However, people have also discovered many other giant snakes that can make you “scared” as soon as you see them.

This python was raised in captivity in Kansas City, Missouri, USA and was recorded in the Guinness Book of Records in 2013. At that time, Medusa weighed 136kg, was about 7.6m long and could easily be swallowed. The prey weighs up to 45kg.

At the time of adoption, Medusa was just over 60cm long and her body diameter was only as small as a finger.

Medusa’s favorite weekly foods are raccoons, deer, and pigs. Each meal, Medusa will consume a prey weighing about 18kg. The giant python has attracted many tourists to visit the Edge of Hell spooky house. Currently, Medusa is only about 18 years old. Medusa’s trainer said that a reticulated python can live from 30 to 50 years.
