Australian Open 2024: When does Taylor Fritz play next? Opponent, time, and date

Taylor Fritz is currently the number one Tennis player in the United States. At only 25 years old, he has already won 5 ATP titles and has been ranked in the top 10 for over a year. He is a very likable player and continues to improve with each tournament he plays.

Fritz recently reached his highest world ranking of 5th, so his development is progressing well. However, he has fallen outside of the ATP top 10 and is hoping for a strong finish at the Australian Open to regain his spot. Earlier this year, Fritz was part of the American team that won the United Cup, with Fritz winning four out of five Games during the tournament.

Despite his success, Melbourne Park has been a challenging venue for Fritz. He has not gone past the fourth round in eight attempts and was ousted by Alexei Popyrin in the second round last year. It’s worth noting that the last time a Tennis player from the United States won the Australian Open was more than 20 years ago, in 2003, when Andre Agassi beat Rainer Schüttler in straight sets.

Taylor Fritz’s next match will take place on January 18, 2024, at the John Cain Arena around 9 p.m. ET. He will be playing against Fabia Marozsan in the Australian Open. In his previous match, he won the second-round match against Gaston with a score of 3-0.

An extensive Roman coin collection has been found in a Swiss orchard, one of the most significant archeological discoveries. In Ueken, a tiny village in northwestern Switzerland, a farmer discovered the ancient coins several months ago. He excavated them by accident while inspecting his cherry trees. He then contacted local archaeological experts, who confirmed the presence of a collection of more than 4,000 bronze and silver Roman coins. Large troves of Roman coins are often found in Britain. A collection of nearly 60,000 rusted coins known as the Frome Hoard was found in a field in Somerset in 2009.
