Apple users urged to update software on iPhones, iPads, Macs to iOS 16.5.1 (a) for ‘important’ bug fix
Apple has released an urgent security update for millions of customers to fix a bug that “may have been actively exploited” by cyber crooks.
The tech giant released a rapid security response, iOS 16.5.1 (a), on Monday to patch the security issue for iPhone, iPad and Mac users.

“This rapid security response provides important security fixes and is recommended for all users,” it said in an update notice on impacted devices.
The vulnerability, titled CVE-2023-37450, was reported by an anonymous security researcher and can be easily fixed by downloading and installing the rapid security response.
